WORLD STEAK CHALLENGE 2024 – Gold Medal Winner

At the international competition held since 2015 to determine the world’s best beef, our product won a gold medal in the WAGYU category, competing against foreign wagyu as well as typical Japanese wagyu (steers and non-lactating cows). Entries came from approximately 30 countries, totaling several hundred submissions.

Judging was conducted blindly by 80 meat professionals, including chefs, restaurant owners, and researchers from across Europe, with no information provided about the producer or the cattle.

This achievement demonstrates that Sustainable Wagyu JUKU successfully brings out the full potential of mature cows, producing beef with a flavor and quality recognized worldwide.

Lecture Requests & Farm Visits

Our efforts to combine the fattening of mother wagyu with SDG-conscious practices have drawn attention as a pioneering initiative within the wagyu industry. We are invited to give lectures and provide technical guidance to government agencies, livestock industry professionals, and environmental organizations both within and outside Shimane Prefecture.

We also welcome numerous farm visits from those who want to see our operations firsthand. For livestock farmers, we work together to identify practical ways to implement these practices, helping to expand the network of sustainable initiatives.

In collaboration with Shimane Prefectural College of Agriculture and Forestry, we accept students for farm training and provide technical guidance on mother wagyu fattening.
